Development of the Da Vinci Bridging system for the West African Environment.
The development of the Da Vinci Woven Bridging system is a subproject integral to the SIDA funded Liberia Swedish Feeder Road Programme (LSFRP), Phase 3 Extension Village Access Roads project. Spearheaded by the collaboration between LIDA-R and Swansea University, technical drawings, lab and field testing have taken place. Our orgnisation as of now has completed the construction and deployement of 1 experimental and 3 finalised designs in the field. In total 2 communities and one technical college have been fully engaged and trained for the completion of the current and future structures.
